1. Information We Collect

We collect minimal data to provide and improve the app experience:

• Account data: If you sign in with Google or Apple, we receive your name, email, and profile photo. This is used solely for friend features and account identification.
• Usage data: Focus session durations, streaks, and achievements are stored locally on your device. Completed sessions may be synced to our servers for co-melt (group study) features.
• Analytics: We use Firebase Analytics to collect anonymized usage patterns (e.g., feature adoption, session counts). No personally identifiable information is sent.
• Purchase data: Subscription status is managed by RevenueCat. We do not store your payment information.

2. How We Use Your Information

• To provide focus timer, streak tracking, and achievement features
• To enable co-melt (group study) sessions with friends
• To send optional daily reminder notifications (you control this in Settings)
• To improve app performance and fix bugs

3. Data Storage

Session data and settings are stored locally on your device using AsyncStorage. Account and friend data is stored securely on Firebase servers. You can delete all local data at any time from Settings > Reset.

4. Third-Party Services

• Firebase (Google) — Authentication, App Check, Analytics
• RevenueCat — Subscription management
• Apple/Google — Sign-in services

Each service has its own privacy policy. We encourage you to review them.

5. Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes. Data is only shared with the third-party services listed above as necessary to operate the app.

6. Children's Privacy

Ice Melting Challenge is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13.

7. Your Rights

You can:

• Delete your local data from Settings > Reset
• Request account deletion by contacting us
• Disable analytics by disabling personalized content in your device settings
